Tapiki StormWatch
A free app with Hawaiʻi’s weather warnings, forecasts, and outages in one place, built and run by Tapiki.
Challenge
Hawaiʻi had no single live view of its emergency weather. Warnings, forecasts, and conditions were spread across agencies and sites.
Solution
Tapiki built and runs one, drawing on National Weather Service, National Hurricane Center, USGS, and Pacific Tsunami Warning Center data across iPhone, Apple TV, Apple Watch, and the web.
A free public service Tapiki operates year-round, with Live Activities and community outage reports added for the 2026 season.
